How To Supply Your Files

We prefer all artwork to be supplied as high-resolution PDF format. PDFs is the standard file format for transmitting files for printing, but it is important to prepare your PDF file in the correct way.

When creating a PDF, there are job options which must be set for commercial printing. These include default resolution, compression settings and font embedding. Please Download our Bokprint PDF Job options file and and use this when preparing your pdf files.
Colours

Make sure all colours are nominated PMS or CMYK depending on the printing process by which your job is to be printed. Screen colours are never accurate, please check Pantone or CMYK specifications. If your CMYK artwork contains large areas of the colour black, we strongly recommend adding at least 40% Cyan to the 100% Black to produce a deeper and richer black that will provide better coverage on your document.

Image Resolution

All images in your artwork should be at 300dpi resolution.

Multi-Page Documents

Please supply Multi-Page artwork as single PDF documents.

Bleed

One of the most important elements in artwork for printing! Please ensure there is 2mm bleed all round the PDF, i.e. save the PDF with 4mm added to each measurement (i.e. for A4 usually 210mm x 297mm, save as 214mm x 301mm). Please do not include crop marks or extra area around your artwork. If your artwork is supplied without bleed we may not always be able to add it on for you and you may have to amend and re-supply the artwork.

Sending Artwork by Email

Please address it to (art@bokprint.com.au) with any relevant information regarding the job. Maximum file size preferred by email is 20mb. Files larger than this should be sent on disk or via Dropbox.
